Guide to Louisiana Constitutional Amendments

Whenever you’re confused about the meaning of the constitutional amendments on your ballot, the Louisiana Public Affairs Research Council can help. They break down each amendment and tell you what your vote would be if you voted ‘yes’ or ‘no’.

Just go to their website, parlouisiana.org and there you will find the “Guide to Constitutional Amendments”. Take a few minutes to review the information, and if you still need more detail, there are additional explanations for each amendment on this site. Part of the battle is knowing what you are voting for or against.

Another way to simplify your voting process is to download the geaux vote app. It’s a great source for getting you the information you need on all state elections. It will even give you the location of your constituency, your voting status, election results and much more. Click on “what’s on my ballot” and an exact replica of YOUR ballot will appear. You can fill it out and use it to guide you while you’re in the voting booth.

Now vote geaux! Polling stations are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. today
