Kanu urged the people of the region to unite and put an end to the activities of “state sponsored” criminals in the region.
The statement reads: “In accordance with the current court-ordered directive, we visited our kind client – Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu today.
“As you have been previously informed, Onyendu’s case, which was scheduled for a decision/hearing today, being May 26, 2022, has been adjourned to June 28, 2022, and as such, Onyendu could not not be in court today.
“The adjournment of his case was an integral part of our briefing, as well as our willingness to await the very important decision, which is now due on June 28, 2022.
“Nevertheless, Onyendu has remained steadfast in the face of this new twist, as he strongly believes that justice delayed is not justice denied.
“Furthermore, Onyendu reiterated that his current work is not too great a sacrifice to free his dearest and most beloved race from its current slavery. Therefore, he implored each other to stay resolute, firm and to be civilly guided in their actions and conduct as they have always been.
“It is pertinent to note that Onyendu was heartbroken upon learning of the heinous activities of unscrupulous criminals in the Southeast, as well as the senseless killings perpetrated by these enemies of our people.
“Onyendu strongly condemned the barbaric activities of these criminals and specifically ordered me to let the public know his position on the sacrilegious activities of these bloodsucking demons.
“Onyendu therefore extends its sincere condolences to the victims of these despicable acts and ordered everyone to join hands in finding the culprits.
“Onyendu noted that he is incarcerated today and kept in solitary confinement because he advocates for the emancipation of our people as he has not committed any known offense under the law.
“Therefore, he wondered how the same people he is advancing on the path to their freedom and protection from invaders should be subjected to bloody assaults by criminals who have no connection with his movement. of freedom.
“Therefore, Onyendu ordered everyone to be on deck to ensure an immediate end to this sacrilege.
“Onyendu has been visibly traumatized by the disturbing situation told in the Southeast created by the enemies of our people who take advantage of his temporary absence.
“It has been noted that the activities of these criminals have given lawless “security agents” an excuse to unleash wanton bloodshed and destruction on our land. Onyendu also condemned this in clear and error-free terms.
“Furthermore, Onyendu ordered that there be a total stop, and he meant STOP in every way, of this growing insecurity and bloody siege on our land by these criminal elements.
“Onyendu urged millions of his followers to be guided by the main goal and never go off the rails. He commended Ezigbo UmuChineke for their unwavering solidarity and support. Furthermore, he implore you all to stay focused and steadfast as it is only a matter of time for you all to rejoice in the faithfulness of his words – ‘maka na chi folu afọ efona nkwọ’.
“The opportunity offered by the visit allowed us to explore an internal mechanism to press forcefully for the immediate release of Ms. Ukamaka Ejezie (Mama Biafra). Rest assured that she will regain her freedom as soon as possible. The details of this commitment will remain confidential.
“Onyendu thanked millions of all of you, his supporters, for your determination and civility, and showed empathy for those injured in an unprovoked attack by security guards, at his last court appearance. These sacrifices are not taken for granted. He appreciates you all.
“Additionally, Onyendu noted that your prayers had an impact and encouraged you all to never give in.
“We on the legal team deeply appreciate you standing side by side with us as we look forward to better days ahead. Your support remains motivating, and we deeply appreciate you, Ezigbo Umuchineke.
“Thank you all and stay blessed.”
