Working on the water has its share of adventures, but also comes with many risks. To help ensure survivability for emergencies at sea, members of the Massachusetts-based Fishing Partnership Support Services on March 24-25 held a two-day Safety and Survival Course hosted by Omega Protein in Reedville.
During the training, offered free to anglers in the community, a group of Ocean Harvesters anglers received classroom-based training designed to familiarize them with everything from Mayday distress calls to flares and wrestling. against fires, donning immersion suits and boarding life rafts…..
